ResponsibilitiesThe Patient Care Technician works under the supervision of the clinical team and performs duties and direct technical care, requiring knowledge of basic patient care principles and medical terminology.
QualificationsMinimum:
- High School Diploma/GED and either a current CNA or EMT certification, or have completed 3 blocks of nursing school
- One year of Hospital Experience Preferred
- American Heart Association BLS certification for the Health Care Professional
- Basic Computer Skills, Time Management, Communication Proficiency
- 12 lead EKG, venipuncture, IV starts
- Ability to problem solve and seek assistance from team members when necessary
